Meet Dr. John and Staff
Dr. John and his staff have been together for more than 11 years. Longevity in a dental office these days is rare, and our long term coordinated efforts provides a level of care that is unparalleled.
Jodie is the expanded duty dental assistant, with an Associates in Applied Science and a Bachelors in Communications. She grew up in Minnesota and is married with four beautiful children.
Isabelle is our patient scheduling coordinator, office manager, and front desk goddess. She is originally from Normandy, France and is the mother of two wonderful boys.
Christina is our dental hygienist. Christina has an A.A. S. in Dental Hygiene from Pueblo Community College. She is married and has two beautiful children.
Dr. John has been working in dentistry since the age of 13. He began as a lab technician in his father’s orthodontic practice where his skills at making appliances were refined at a very young age. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1990 where he also received a senior achievement award in geriatric care.
Dr. John has extensive continuing education in nutrition, toxicology, oxygen therapies, homeopathy, herbology and many other natural therapies that compliment biological dentistry. He is an active member of the Holistic Dental Association, American Academy of Biological Dentistry, the Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation, the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, and is a Huggin’s Alliance Dentist.
In 2009, Dr. John’s office was completely renovated. Now our office is a state-of-the-art “green” dental clinic. Our facility takes the dental experience to the next level, including the most modern equipment available. We offer an in-house dental laboratory to provide our patients same day appliances and dentures. We also have the added benefit of being located right next door to a state-of-the-art porcelain laboratory which gives us quick turn around time AND chairside customizations of all porcelain restorations. What this means for you is a beautifully created and customized finished product in very little time.
In his free time, Dr. John is a drummer / percussionist working on various independent musical projects, while finding time for skiing, mountain biking and fly fishing. He also has a beautiful young daughter. He lives in Colorado Springs with his dogs Sammy and Spicey.
